This is a print I made using parts of prints and positives other people had made. I made the rorschach with paint, cut it out, drew on top of it, and attached it to the top of the bottom layer. I then printed the purple squiggles on top. Another student stitched red thread around the body. This was part of a collaborative class assignment we finished last week.

I was invited to do a guest artist spot at Soundwave Music Festival this Friday! So in preparation, I've been turning out a bunch of small wood drawings. Each is unique and hand drawn, but I am maintaining consistency by using a simple palette of only black, white, silver, gold and the natural wood color of each piece.
Here are a few of them, the top one is in progress:

recently i was looking through my old moleskins and i realized that lately i've been focused on drawing more "realistic" figures, which is not what i started out drawing at all. since i was very young i liked drawing cartoons and when i started keeping sketchbooks i drew a lot of gross little characters. i missed them, so i sketched this out the other night with an india ink pen.

my friend courtney is having a show for her birthday, and i thought it would be cool to draw up something for the flier instead of using a random creepy/evil image from the internet.
original sketch:

and here it is finished, after doing some work with adobe. i don't use adobe programs often, but am pleased with how it turned out:
