This is a "deck" of polymer printed cards I developed around the theme of infirmity. My idea was to make a sort of visual index to identifying mental illness, and my drawings are influenced by both stereotypes of these mental "disorders" as well as what they feel like to the person experiencing them. I would like to further develop the idea around a sort of apothecary box containing placebos and a procedural manual to "cure". I have a mock up of the box but I think a custom made object would be more fitting.
I printed 10 sets of 6 prints on tan Reeves BFK paper using a Vandercook press.
